somewhere only we know

Jumper - sammydress
Jeans & scarf & bag - Primark

I was lucky enough to be sent this lovely bandage jumper from Sammydress.com which is currently my most favourite item of clothing for the wintery months. I was at first wishing I'd bought a larger size, but the cropped-ness is growing on me and the quality has really impressed me. I'd been meaning to purchase something textured as opposed to my usual simpler knitwear and I thought this fit the bill perfectly.

Anyway, it's very nearly the big day I am far too comfortable in front of the fire, distracted by the fairy lights and endless festive television to be doing *ahem* work. So instead, what could be more enjoyable than browsing pretty pictures of things you might purchase in the new year sales? Speaking of new year, how quickly did 2013 go?

P.s. I'm also twenty next week but let's all stay in denial of that for a little longer?

She Inside Picks..

She Inside has quickly become one of those websites I have to avoid in order not to purchase anything.. I can spend far too long scrolling through the endless items and thought it was about time I compiled a selection to express my affections..

Do you have any favourites?

We're so connected but are we even friends?

Really, where on earth has this year gone?
I remember this time last year frantically panicking about what I was doing with my life and turning 19 and now I have almost reached 20 *gulps*..
Anyway, putting the existential crisis on hold, it's almost Christmas which essentially equals wearing many layers, any excuse to go to a coffee shop and evening shopping. All of which I enjoy profusely.

Also, parties a plenty which also means an excuse to purchase the "essentials".
I picked up the gold shape rings in H&M for £2.99 and the Primark ones are helpfully labelled. I am developing a slight obsession, but they looked so tempting.
Also unsure about the statement-art-deco-esque necklace from Primark, but I just was in need of something to add to a plain dress without spending excessive amounts.
The nail polish I got free with Glamour and have received much interest as to where I purchased it. It's called Soho silver from the Kate Spade range at nails inc. and has lasted incredibly well without chipping.

Also feel like I have a duty to mention how great Zara is doing this season (and every season), definitely go and have a click through..

Finally some pictures to inspire your wintery wishlists..

I should live in salt

01.

02.

03.

Hello hello hello:) Hope everyone is well. This time last week I was paying for overpriced wine and not-so-subtley singing along to the National with my lovely boyfriend at Alexandra Palace. This week has been somewhat quieter, as well as (a great deal) colder. I picked up the jewellery (01,02) from a local Christmas fair which came to grand total of £2.50, thankfully, as my finances are somewhat restricted.
It's ridiculous how quickly the festive season has approached and I shall have to inform family members that homemade gifts will be expected come the 25th. Has anyone made their lists yet?
